Slow Fashion

Slow Fashion

We’re rooting for slow fashion.

Like – SUUUUUUPER slow. Slow as in ‘start it now and finish by next winter’. But that’s ok, because if you think about it this way you might understand the point… slow fashion is (obviously) the opposite of fast fashion. Fast fashion is pretty much the same concept as fast food: unsustainable, mass produced, damaging. Damaging on so many levels. So if you wouldn’t put ‘fast’ INSIDE your body on a daily basis, why would you put it on it? Just a little food for thought (but slow food nonetheless).

In the realm of slow fashion, where each stitch is a deliberate step towards a more sustainable future, we’re embracing the art of creation and longevity. It’s about cherishing the process as much as the product.

When you embark on a slow fashion knitting journey with our patterns, you’re not just crafting a garment; you’re weaving a story of intention, patience, and individuality. It’s a rebellion against the throwaway culture that permeates fast fashion, a conscious choice to embrace quality over quantity. With every loop and knit, you’re not just creating a wardrobe piece, but a timeless heirloom that transcends seasons and trends. So, join us in this deliberate, unhurried dance of needles and yarn, and let’s make gorgeous pieces that are created for a reason that lasts for longer than a season.

Embark on your first ever slow fashion project with our first ever knitting pattern – The Little Cropped One .

Slow knitting, fast enjoyment. Have fun!
