Description:

You best bring your A game while you knit this one! Made up of 2 strands of chunky mohair held together, this jumper uses classic intarsia technique to knit the ‘a’ pattern.*

This garment is knitted from the bottom up in separate pieces, and assembled at the end. It’s knitted in stockinette rib stitch on size 10mm needles, which gives the jumper its chunky look. The volume at the sleeves occurs by increasing directly above the cuffs, and the back has no shaping, so is very simple to knit. The front is also worked from the bottom up, so you will see the ‘a’ letter emerging as you work your way upwards. There is basic shaping at the front neckline, and the collar is done by picking up the stitches around the neckline and working 1×1 rib stitch in the round. The ribbed part is them turned inwards and stitched down for the chunky look of the collar.

The most challenging part of this jumper is the focus required, and is therefore an incredibly rewarding jumper to knit!
