The Little Cropped One is a cropped, dropped shoulder crew neck jumper.

Description:

This chunky jumper is knitted from the bottom up in separate pieces, using 2 strands of the same yarn in different colours held together. In this knitting pattern, you knit the jumper flat (back and forth on straight needles), and assemble it at the end. First you will work the back body, starting with 1×1 rib in stripes. The rest of the back is worked in stockinette stitch and a straight line is bound off for the neck and shoulders.

The front is then worked in the same way as the back until the shaping takes place by binding off the centre section and working the 2 shoulders separately. When following this knitting pattern, you will use decreases to shape the neckline. You will construct the balloon shaped sleeves by working 1×1 rib stitch for the cuffs, increasing directly above the cuff, and knitting stockinette stitch for the rest of the sleeves with 3 wide stripes.
