Prices

At Yearn, we reserve the right for any errors in our stated prices. Furthermore, we reserve the right to change prices without prior consent. There is also a reservation for sold-out items.

Discount vouchers are only valid for items that are not already on offer.

Payment

Yearn accepts payment with Apple Pay, VISA-Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, Mastercard. The payment will only be deducted from your account when the item is shipped. All amounts are in DKK (Danish kroner), USD (United States Dollars), EUR (Euros), and GBP (British Pounds) and include Danish VAT for customers residing in Denmark. There is a reservation for price errors and sold-out/discontinued items.

Delivery

Yearn strives to dispatch physical orders, such as jumpers, as quickly as possible. We ship to all of Denmark. Shipping rates from 49 kr. Goods will be delivered to the delivery address specified at the time of ordering unless otherwise agreed. We do not deliver abroad (this also applies to the Faroe Islands and Greenland). There is free shipping for purchases over 799 kr.

Please note, if there is no room at the delivery point, your package will be moved to the nearest delivery point, about which you will be notified. If there are any problems, please contact customer service. Goods are delivered on all weekdays. Your order will be delivered after 2-4 weekdays to a distributor, who then assumes responsibility for delivery. Special delivery terms apply to certain items. The terms will appear specifically before purchasing these items.

For purchases of knitting patterns, the patterns will be sent instantly via email upon completion of the purchase.

Warranty

A 2-year warranty is provided in accordance with the Purchase Act. Our warranty applies to defects in material and/or manufacturing. You can have the item repaired, replaced, receive a refund, or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation. The complaint does not apply to errors or damage committed by incorrect handling of the product/service. You must complain in “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect/error. Yearn will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

Refunds

At Yearn, we stand by your rights as a consumer when purchasing digital knitting patterns in accordance with Danish law.

When buying digital products like knitting patterns, you’re protected by the Danish Consumer Contracts Act. This law ensures that you receive what you pay for, including timely delivery, product quality, and necessary updates. If you encounter any issues with your purchase, we will either fix them or provide a replacement. If that’s not possible within a reasonable time, we offer a price reduction or a full refund.

Keep in mind that for digital content, the presumption rule applies for one year, meaning issues within the first year are presumed to be present at delivery. While physical goods usually have a two-year warranty, for digital content, you can report defects until the end of the delivery period, sometimes even up to two months after.

If a refund is applicable, we will process it using the same card that was used for the original order. Your refund will be returned to the card you used during the purchase process.

Cancellation Policy for Digital Products

By proceeding with your purchase of digital products or patterns, you acknowledge that the standard 14-day cancellation period for digital products does not apply.

Return Policy for Physical Goods

There is a 14-day full return policy on items purchased in our webshop. The period is counted from the day you receive the order. Returns must be announced to us no later than 14 days after the purchase, and from the cancellation, you must return the shipment no later than 14 days after. The notification should be given by creating a return case via the following link: Create a new return case.

Please note that we do not accept return items sent to a parcel box.

Return costs must be borne by you. You cannot regret just by refusing receipt of the item without giving us clear notice of this. For returns, please use a reputable courier, as we are not responsible for items that get lost in transit.

Please note that you bear the risk of the goods from the delivery of the goods, and upon return, you are responsible for the product being properly wrapped. You bear the risk of the product from the time of delivery of the goods.

You bear the direct costs associated with the return of the item.

Privacy Policy

We need the following information when you shop with us: Name, address, telephone number, and e-mail address. We register your personal information for the purpose of delivering the goods to you.

The personal information is registered with Yearn and kept for five years, after which the data is deleted. When personal information is collected via our website, we ensure that it always happens with your express consent, so that you are informed about exactly what information is collected and why.

The director and employees of Yearn have access to the information recorded about you. The data manager at yearn.dk is Yearn. We do not store customer data encrypted. We do not transmit customer information encrypted.

Information provided to yearn.dk is in no way disclosed or sold in any way to third parties, and we do not record any personally sensitive information.

As registered with Yearn, you always have the right to object to the registration. You also have the right to insight into what information is recorded about you. These rights are according to the Personal Data Act, and inquiries in connection with this should be directed to Yearn via e-mail [email protected].

On yearn.dk, cookies are used for the purpose of optimizing the website and its functionality, thus making the visit as easy as possible for you.

Appeals

Complaints about products can be sent to the Competition and Consumer Authority’s Center for Complaint Resolution, Carl Jacobsen’s Road 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Center for Complaint Resolution through the Complaints Portal.
